Rodrigo Corrales: 'With Paris, you always play to win'

Following their 14th Lidl Starligue win of the season, Jota Gonzalez, Rodrigo Corrales and Edouard Kempf answered a few questions.

Jota Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball assistant coach):

"The first half was tougher for us as we didn't defend that well. Still, we were ready for what Toulouse brought to the table. In the second half, we were better in every area and that's how we won it.
Our next objective is to win away to Celje to make sure we stay in top spot. That would give us a bit more time to work. But we need to stay on this positive dynamic and continue to show this kind of character in our upcoming matches."

Edouard Kempf (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):

"Tonight, the win was the most important thing, and it came thanks mainly to our excellent second half. After Viran was sent off, we needed a few minutes to adapt and re-take control of the match. Robin and I even got a bit of game time, which was awesome! Against Celje on Sunday, one point will be enough for us to secure top spot, but we will be going there with every intention of winning and maintaining our positive dynamic.

Rodrigo Corrales (Paris Saint-Germain Handball 'keeper):

"The five unanswered goals we hit at the beginning of the second half were really decisive, especially after our slightly complicated start to the match. When a player like Viran gets a red card, it's always a tough blow, but the team managed to get past it and keep working hard in defence.
Here at Paris, we have the aim of winning all our matches. That's what we managed to do tonight and that's what we'll try to do away to Celje. Even though a draw is enough for us, with Paris, you always play to win."
