Raul Gonzalez: "We've gone from strength to strength"

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Andreas Palicka and Gautier Loredon had to say after the capital club's fine 30-34 win at Istres.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain handball coach):

"They're a very good team and we were warned. It was difficult to prepare for this match because of the busy schedule and the trip to Berlin in the middle of the week. That's why you have to be proud of the players. I think everyone stepped up their game as the minutes went by. These are crucial points in the race for the title. This crowded calendar is difficult, but our players are used to it. Istres put in a very good performance and deserved to be in the lead at half-time, but a match lasts 60 minutes and we were able to make the difference."

Andreas Palicka (Paris Saint-Germain handball goalkeeper):

"Winning is important. We were pretty tired after the trip to Berlin in midweek, and Istres are a good team. They put up a good fight, but we improved in the second half. Winning the match by four goals was a great performance. The busy schedule is a lot to handle, but to have clinched wins against Berlin and Istres is very positive. We train every day for games like this."

Gautier Loredon (Paris Saint-Germain handball pivot):

"It was a good battle. There are no small teams in this championship. The first half was very difficult, but we were able to pull ourselves together after the break to get the two points. Personally, I don't get worked up about the different opponents we face. Every match is a tough one. You always have to give it 100%."
