"In just under three years, I have become deeply attached to the Club and to what it represents. I would like to extend this collaboration. I am convinced that we have the weapons to achieve great things. In Paris, everything is in place to achieve this. Together with the players and the other members of the staff, we will approach the upcoming challenges with determination and high standards in order to win as many titles as possible."
"The extension of Raul Gonzalez's contract was a priority," said Paris Saint-Germain General ManagerJean-Claude Blanc after pen was put to paper. "With his assistant coach Jesus Gonzalez, he forms a benchmark duo that allows our team to make progress each and every season. Under his guidance, the Club has consolidated its presence among the world's elite in the sport and set a host of new records. Naturally, we will continue to hold, along with them, great ambitions for the season to come, be it in domestic competitions or on the European stage."
