Raul Gonzalez: 'Our attackers won us the match'

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Luc Steins and Elohim Prandi had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's victory in Dunkirk (32-38).

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"It was very difficult. As always when we play away, the arena was full and the atmosphere was magnificent. We faced a solid and efficient team that scored a lot of goals. Sometimes it's the defence that turns a game around, but today our attackers won us the match. It's difficult to keep this pace up, because there is a lot of fatigue. We had to win because we had dropped points. Now we have to rest and prepare for the next game."

LUC STEINS (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):

"It was a tough and complicated game today, against a good Dunkerque team who fought well. We had some difficulties and we didn't play our best game. But in the second half, we were a bit stronger in defence and that's where we made the difference. It's important to keep winning in every competition. We've already dropped a few points in the league, so now we have to win every time. Tomorrow we have a day off so we have to take advantage of that too."

ELOHIM PRANDI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"I didn't know I had scored 14 goals. I didn't count. It's cool on a personal level to break a record. Defensively, we weren't always in place. But we were able to make the difference in important moments. I think we'll have to make some adjustments. We were a bit badly beaten on the quicker engagements. But in any case, the mission is accomplished: we won, that's the most important thing. Andreas helped us with a lot of saves. You can see the difference right away. Now it's part of the game and we have to help our goalkeepers as much as possible. I think our defending wasn't physical enough. We were able to create a lead when we needed to and we were able to keep it until the end of the game. That's what we need to remember, and also work hard on the little things we need to correct."
