Raul Gonzalez: "Everything is going to move quickly"

Raul Gonzalez, Yahia Omar and Luka Karabatic give their reactions after Paris Saint-Germain's spirited 38-40 victory over Füchse Berlin.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):

"It was a difficult game to prepare for because they'd been without a number of players in recent matches. We didn't really know what to expect. It's always difficult to come and play in this venue, and we have to be satisfied with this result. It allows us to continue towards our goal of finishing in the top two. We have to take each game in turn, because things are going to move quickly from now on. We've got another trip, to Istres, on Sunday, and we can't afford to lose that one."

Luka karabatic (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot and captain):

"We were expecting a very tough game against one of the best teams in Europe. Their players are among the very best, and it's always difficult to win here. We had to dig deep, but I think we pulled together well. We showed courage and self-sacrifice, particularly in the second half. We were able to push them to the limit, and in the end they cracked. I'm very happy with what we showed tonight. The group stage is very long, and it's important to pick up points away from home. We've got a lot of games coming up, with Istres on Sunday and Sporting next week. We've made a good start to the season and we need to keep it up."

Yahia Omar (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-back):

"I'm very happy with this result. It was a very difficult match and particularly demanding physically. The whole team played well and it was a great collective victory. It was a real battle on the court, as is often the case in the Champions League."
