Raul Gonzalez: 'Every match is a final'

Following Les Rouge et Bleus' fine win over Kielce (35-25) in EHF Champions League Matchday 12, find out what Raul Gonzalez, Nikola Karabatic and Andreas Palicka had to say.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH)

"It's always complicated in the Champions League. Thanks to the superb atmosphere, we were able to win tonight and that was very important for us. With this win, we're still hopeful of finishing in the top two. Now we have to concentrate on the trip to Zagreb, which will again be very difficult. We need to find time to rest, even if we're playing one match after another in quick succession. Everyone's feeling good at the moment, and we're coming up to a key moment in the season, because every match is a final if we want to win all the trophies."

NIKOLA KARABATIC (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK)

"It was a real battle, as every game against Kielce is. There was an incredible atmosphere and that carried us throughout the match. It was difficult because they never gave up and that gave us a great Champions League match. We're delighted to have won by such a margin, especially in front of such a big crowd. The group stage is very long and difficult, but we've been on an excellent run since the start of the season and that gives us a lot of confidence. We need it because we've got big games coming up against Montpellier and Zagreb."

ANDREAS PALICKA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER)

"The atmosphere was incredible and we played a splendid match. It was very important for us, because we want to finish in the top two places to qualify directly for the quarter-finals. I think we're making good progress step by step. Once again, everyone played well tonight and that's the most important thing.
