Raul Gonzalez: 'Despite the difficulties, we gave it our all'

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Mathieu Grébille and Yoann Gibelin had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's EHF Champions League Matchday 12 win over Dinamo Bucharest (33-26).

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"Every match is difficult and Bucharest gave us quite a few problems. We also have some problems with injured players. But we played a very good match and it's a great victory. We have to continue like this. Despite the difficulties, we gave it our all. We are top of the group, four points ahead of Veszprém and Magdeburg. That's great. Now we have to go and win in Plock, who recently beat Magdeburg. It will be complicated one again. But before that, we have to prepare for the Liqui Moly StarLigue match against Sélestat."

MATHIEU GRÉBILLE (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-WINGER):

"We knew it would be difficult. It's the Champions League and there are no easy matches. Bucharest didn't have any pressure and really went for it. But we were able to play the right game with our strengths at the time. I am very happy with this victory. We only need one more win to go straight to the quarter-finals. Now we have to rest. Then there is the match in Sélestat and after that we have to go and get the victory in Plock. It's always a pleasure to play in Coubertin and even more so when the fans are on fire. It was a great atmosphere."

YOANN GIBELIN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"The match was tight for a long time. We had a few absentees, so we had to look for more resources collectively. It was a great battle. We are top of the group and we don't look at what's happening behind. The important thing for us is to capitalise and take the points. We'll do the maths at the end. We have a gap ahead of second place, and we have to finish the job in Plock. As is often the case at home, we were spurred on by our fans and we needed that, because the match was close. The support of the fans was capital."
