Preview: 5 things about Aix - Paris
On Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain travel to Aix-en-Provence to take on Pays d'Aix in Liqui Moly StarLigue Round 10. We take a look ahead to the fixture.
1 - THE TABLE
Aix, currently sixth in the Liqui Moly StarLigue, have made a solid start to the season and clocked an encouraging 31-32 win over Nîmes in Round 7. Last week, however, Aix were beaten 29-28 away to Saint-Raphaël and will be keen to get back to winning ways if they are to stay in the top four.
For their part, the capital club have had a faultless start to the season. Co-leaders with Montpellier, Les Rouge et Bleu will be aiming to continue their good run ahead of the summit clash with Montpellier at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin on 26 November.
2 - Trigger men face off
The clash between our Parisians and Aix-en-Provence will provide an exciting duel between two of the leading players from the early stages of the league season. With 71 goals to his name, Kamil Syprzak leads the scoring charts. The Polish international, recently named in the Best 7 of the Round - for a fourth round in a row! - seems unstoppable this season on both the domestic and continental stages. However, Pays d'Aix will be able to count on Gabriel Loesch, who has also made a remarkable start to the season. The 28-year-old right winger has 59 goals to his name after nine league games, and is the key figure in an attack that is still struggling to find its feet (277 goals so far).

3 - LUC STEINS NEARS HISTORIC MILESTONE
With 36 goals and 46 assists so far this season, Luc Steins could be on the verge of a major milestone this Sunday in Aix-en-Provence. The Parisian centre-half is just one goal away from reaching 400 career strikes in the Liqui Moly StarLigue - a milestone he could reach after just 155 matches.
4 - HEAD TO HEAD HISTORY
Les Rouge et Bleu and Aix-en-Provence have met many times in their history, and the advantage is heavily in Les Rouge et Bleu's favour. In 22 meetings, Raul Gonzalez's men have won 20 times, and are currently on a run of 11 wins in a row in the fixture.
