Patrice Annonay: 'That's the Coupe de France!'

Check out what Patrice Annonay, Luc Steins and Ferran Sole Sala had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's 42-38 victory away to Frontignan in the Coupe de France round of 16.

PATRICE ANNONAY (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL ASSISTANT COACH):

"We weren't necessarily expecting such great opposition, but that's the Coupe de France! Our opponents showed quality and character, and we didn't show enough. So they managed to keep us on our toes. If we want to achieve our objectives, we have to do better than we did tonight. We have to show a different face. There's a big occasion coming up this weekend with the Trophée des Champions against Nantes. We'll be working hard in training for that game."

LUC STEINS (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):

"It's our first official match, and we wanted to give a good account of ourselves after a long pre-season. I think we were ready, but Frontignan played an excellent game. We didn't necessarily put in the intensity we needed from the start. The competition starts and you have to play well for 60 minutes. You have to fight for every ball. That's what we lacked today. We may need a bit of time to get back on track, but it's up to us to show a different side."

FERRAN SOLE SALA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL RIGHT WINGER):

"Maybe we made the mistake of thinking it would be easier. But Frontignan caused us a lot of problems. We shouldn't have played such a game, but sometimes that happens. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. The most important thing is to win. Now we have to think about the Trophée des Champions against Nantes, because we're playing for a title here."
