A week after winning convincingly at Tremblay (32-40), our Rouge et Bleu followed up with another derby against Ivry. Back at Coubertin after two consecutive away games, Raul Gonzalez's men could count on their fans to push them to another win, which would be their fifth in as many games. Opposite them, Ivry were still in search of their first league point of the season. Led by former Parisian Didier Dinart, the Val-de-Marne outfit were determined to play their cards right and get their season off the ground.
However, it was the Parisians who got off to a flying start, with Jannick Green pulling off the first save of the game and Dani Baijens producing a superb solo effort (3': 2-1). Despite going a man down for a period, Les Rouge et Bleu showed tremendous efficiency in front of goal to extend their lead (11': 6-2). At the end of a one-way first quarter, Raul Gonzalez and his men were leading by seven points and had conceded just two goals, forcing Ivry to stop play and review their plans (14': 9-2).
Unstoppable in the first half, Dani put on a show for the home crowd with a splendid spin-shot to increase the lead (19': 11-5). Although the capital club remained in the lead, Ivry found their feet as the minutes went by and made up some of the ground they had lost. Raul took advantage of this to call his first time-out and adjust his team's tactics, as well as bringing on young left-back Noa Narcisse for his league debut (22': 12-8). Kamil Syprzak scored his sixth goal just before half-time, giving his side a five-point lead - the perfect finish to the first half (30': 16-11).

As soon as play resumed, Dani continued his goal-scoring spree with a hat-trick (35': 19-12). The Parisians redoubled their intensity and were clinical in front of goal, Léo Plantin scoring twice to extend the lead to ten goals. And then it was Jannick Green's turn to join the party. Taking advantage of Ivry's empty goal, our keeper scored from deep and set Coubertin alight (40': 25-14). Going into the final quarter of an hour, the capital club were really hitting their straps, with the youth academy alumni putting on a show. In addition to Gautier Loredon, Léo Plantin and Wallem Peleka, Noa Narcisse also made the difference, scoring his first professional goal (46': 30-16).
In control at the end of the match, Paris did not let up, with Dani rounding off his outstanding performance with a ninth goal of his own (54': 36-20). Léo Plantin followed suit with a personal-best eight goals in a professional match (58': 38-23). At the end of a one-sided encounter, Raul Gonzalez's men claimed their biggest win of the season in this derby against Ivry (60': 39-25). In so doing, the club from the capital continued its unblemished run in the league and is now full of confidence before facing Fredericia at Coubertin on Wednesday on EHF Champions League Matchday 4.
