Parisians in the spotlight after Berlin
Paris Saint-Germain produced a superb performance to win 38-40 at Berlin's Max-Schmeling Arena on Thursday and strike the biggest blow of the matchday in the Champions League. It was a performance that did not go unnoticed, as several Parisians were rewarded for their fine success.
Yahia Omar and Kamil Syprzak in the Best 7 of the matchday
Yahia Omar's eight goals against Füchse Berlin constituted his best performance in the Champions League for Les Rouge et Bleu. As decisive a goal taker as he was a goal maker (with three assists), the Egyptian international was one of the key players in Paris' success in the German capital. Having already been named MVP of the match, our right-back has now been named in the EHF Champions League's Best 7 for the matchday for the first time this season.
A place in the Best 7 is becoming a habit for Kamil Syprzak. Once again a clinical performer against Berlin, with eight goals to his name, our pivot followed up with a third consecutive nomination for EHF Champions League Best 7, his fourth in six rounds. It has been an impeccable start to the season for Kamil, who has taken the lead in the Champions League scoring charts with 47 goals to his name.

Elohim Prandi among the top goals
By finding the back of the net on nine occasions against Berlin, Elohim Prandi showed that his form is not going anywhere: against Fredericia (38-30) and Bucharest (35-32) over the last two matchdays, the left-back had also finished the match with nine goals to his name. The goals were always crucial and often magnificent, like one of his many against Berlin. With only two goals separating the sides, Elo‘ unleashed a cannonball from the ten-metre line into the top corner of Lasse Ludwig's net (57’: 34-37). An all-important goal just a few minutes from the end of a match that had lived up to all its promise.
