Palicka honoured after Szeged clash (1)
Despite the capital club's defeat against Szeged on Thursday (25-35), the EHF decided to reward Andreas Palicka for one of his saves against the Hungarians.
This EHF Champions League play-off return leg will not be remembered fondly by Parisian fans, but it's not all bad. On an evening when little went as hoped, Andreas Palicka showed courage to keep Paris afloat. With twenty minutes to go, the Rouge et Bleu goalkeeper won his duel with Bence Banhidi to prevent the Hungarians from going eight goals ahead (40': 15-23). It was a save that took second place in the Top Saves of these EHF Champions League return play-offs.
