Nikola Karabatic: 'We fought until the end'

Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Nikola Karabatic and Léo Plantin after the victory against Cesson-Rennes (36-32).

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"It was complicated, because Cesson-Rennes played well. They caused us a lot of problems. In the championship, it's always like that! But the main thing is that we won and we are getting ready for the next game. We have to continue like this. We play a lot of games, but we adapt. It's up to us to finish the year well."

NIKOLA KARABATIC (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):

"Tonight was, once again, a high intensity match. There are no small matches, be it in the EHF Champions League or in the Liqui Moly Starligue. All our opponents are good - we saw it with Cesson-Rennes, who came here with nothing to lose. They were physically strong and their goalkeeper turned in a very good performance. On our side, we sometimes missed easy things but we fought until the end and we managed to make the difference. We've been warned; we know it's going to be like this for the rest of the season. We are in good shape and confident, which is good because we have a big game ahead of us in the EHF Champions League and some important away games before Christmas. We're staying focused and we're looking forward to playing these matches."

LEO PLANTIN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-WINGER):

"Today I was able to get some game time and some dangerous positions to exploit so that's great. They stayed close to us on the scoreboard for a long time, but we managed to take the lead at the end of the game. On a personal level I managed to fulfil my mission so it's even better. We'll say it's the icing on the cake!"
