Nikola Karabatic: 'I had a blast!'

After Paris Saint-Germain Handball's fine victory over Nantes (35-25) in the Trophée des Champions, check out what Raul Gonzalez, Nikola Karabatic and Jannick Green had to say.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We're happy with this win, because pre-season form often means nothing. Last season we thought we were doing well and we lost the Trophée des Champions. Today we won, despite the pressure. Everyone played well in all areas. Normally, games against Nantes are very close. Anyone who thinks that this result is normal is mistaken. We need to make the most of this win and get back to work. Congratulations to the players on a job well done."

NIKOLA KARABATIC (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"I don't know whether this win is a direct result of our pre-season preparations, because we didn't play well during the friendlies and in the Coupe de France, even though we worked a lot during that period. Tonight we played a very big game. We're kicking our season off with a trophy. The way we played was excellent. We had a lot of fun, attacking, defending, getting back into the game and playing out of defence. Personally, I had a blast. Now, the Trophée des Champions is good for confidence, but this win doesn't mean anything. We mustn't think that the season is going to be easy."

JANNICK GREEN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"It's very important to have won this title. It's always tough against Nantes. We're happy to have won by ten goals. It's always good to win this trophy. We're happy, but we're going to have to get back to work. Today we're enjoying ourselves but on Monday we'll be looking ahead to the game against Limoges in the Liqui Moly StarLigue."
