Nedim Remili: 'We followed instructions'

On Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain Handball won big away to Ivry (24-37), in their Lidl Starligue Round 20 fixture. à l’occasion de la 20ème journée de Lidl StarLigue. Raul Gonzalez, Nedim Remili and Sadou Ntanzi gave us their thoughts on the satisfying win.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):

"We started very well at the back, with Thierry Omeyer making a lot of saves. That paved the way for us to score on the counter. We knew that if we wanted to win here, we would have to be very, very good, as Ivry had just won in Montpellier. Now we'll see how the lads play with their national teams and then prepare for our next match."

Sadou Ntanzi (Paris Saint-Germain Handball playmaker):

"We knew that it is always tough to win in this arena. We told ourselves in the dressing room that we had to get off to a strong start or we would risk a nasty surprise. Ivry had beaten Montpellier so we knew they could trouble us too. But we controlled the match overall, despite their having a few strong sequences, and that was reflected in the scoreline."

Nedim Remili (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-back):

"We played a very accomplished match with some outstanding defending. I really appreciated it, as everyone in the team hit their straps. We stayed in control and we followed instructions, even though we could have done better in some areas. We were also lucky enough to be able to hand around the game time. Now we have some important matches to play with our national teams. We'll do our best to qualify for the Euros before attacking the home stretch of the season with Paris."
