Mikki among the Top 5 Goals
On Saturday night in Zagreb (21-32), Mikkel Hansen turned in a superb performance and was duly rewarded as one of his strikes was selected among the Top Goals from the Velux EHF Champions League's Round 3.
The Danish international was nothing short of spectacular! He scored several times from nine metres out, but the one that caught the judges' attention came from the left wing. The move started with Benoît Kounkoud, who switched the play to Mikki. Our left-back then moved out wide before beating the 'keeper with a magnificent spin-shot. The sublime strike earned him a deserved place among the Top 5 goals for Round 3. He ended the match with four goals to his name.
