Mathieu Grébille: 'The big dates are getting closer'

On Saturday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain Handball won their third pre-season friendly, disposing of Ivry (23-39). Ferran Solé, Mathieu Grébille and Vincent Gérard analysed the match.

Ferran Solé (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):

"We were very strong in all sectors. We have to keep it that way. That's the way we have to play. We have to continue this work, because in two weeks' time, serious things will begin, when the season officially starts. We are in a good rhythm, and we have to continue like this to be ready!"

Vincent Gérard (Paris Saint-Germain Handball goalkeeper):
"We were disappointed with our collective performance on Friday, so everyone was keen to do better. We managed to maintain an promising level, both in attack and defence, for an hour. It shows that we are capable of asking - and answering - some tough questions of ourselves! There are a lot of things to rediscover: the frustration and the joy of matches. You have to get used to all that again."

Mathieu Grébille (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):

"We played better than yesterday, especially defensively. In attack, we continued our good work. It was important to put in a better performance as it allowed us to end the week on a good note. The preparation is going well and we have to keep it that way. The big dates are approaching very quickly!"
