Mathieu Grébille: 'Keep it up, keep improving'

On Saturday night Paris Saint-Germain Handball experienced a real derby in their Lidl Starligue Round 19 clash with Ivry, but managed to extend their flawless league run (34-25). Raul Gonzalez, Adama Keita and Mathieu Grébille gave us their thoughts on the win.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"The first half was difficult, because Ivry played better than us. We had problems in all areas. Then we improved and we managed to make a big difference. Everybody wants to beat us. Ivry and their coach are very good and had prepared well for this game. I am happy because it was the first game since the break. We haven't had much training. We have to keep improving."

Mathieu Grébille (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):
"Ivry are capable of causing problems for any team in the championship. We had a little trouble to start. But we were able to react well and come back. We did what we had to do in the second half to turn the situation around, to carve out a decent lead so we could go home with a smile. The end of the season is not a sprint, it's a marathon because we still have many big matches to come! It was important to start this home stretch well. We have to keep it up, keep improving. I didn't know it was my 500th goal in Lidl StarLigue. I just hope my achievements count for the team. I want to continue to step up and help my teammates."

Adama Keita (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):
"It was a tough fight. We know that Ivry would play very hard and the first 30 minutes were complicated. Afterwards, we were able to rectify the situation and have a better second half by injecting more rhythm. That allowed us to finish the game better. Right up to the end of the season, we will have difficult matches. We will have to take them one by one. This game launches our final sprint and it showed us a few things we have to correct. We will use this game to help us for the rest of the season. "
