Luka makes the Best 7

After turning in an excellent performance against Zaprozhye on Sunday (31-25), Luka Stepancic was named as best right-back for Velux EHF Champions League Round 14.

The Croatian international was practically unplayable on Sunday: from his ten shots on goal, just one failed to find the back of the net. Although he often used sheer power to beat the 'keeper, he also struck on the counter - proof of his also working tirelessly in defence. With nine goals, he top-scored in the match but also equalled his personal-best goal tally for a Champions League match. Plenty of reasons for him to be names in the Best 7 for the round!
