Luc's Netherlands fall one goal short
Already qualified for the main round, Luc Steins and the Netherlands had a last chance to top their group against Norway on Tuesday. Despite a very good performance, they lost by the narrowest of margins (26-27).
The Dutchmen's first half was close to perfection! Led by a thundering Luc Steins (5 from 5), they built their lead throughout the first half to lead by four goals at the break (30': 17-13). But in the last 30 minutes, the team led by our former left-back Sander Sagosen got back on track and quickly made up the deficit. It all came down to the final moments! The Scandinavians had the better of the game at the end of the second half; Luc lost by one, but could be proud of his superb performance.
