Luc Steins: 'The first title of the season'
Raul Gonzalez, Vincent Gerard and Luc Steins, happy with their victory, look back on the first title of the Parisian season: the Coupe de France.
RAUL GONZALEZ (COACH - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL):
"Montpellier started this final very well. But, little by little, we were able to find solutions and respond to the challenge imposed by our opponent. In the second half, we showed a lot of control and that allowed us to win. I am very happy, I congratulate my players. They did a very good job. Of the three very complicated games that awaited us, we have already played two. We have one last match left against Kiel, which we will have to win on Wednesday."
LUC STEINS (CENTRE-HALF - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL):
"Against a Montpellier team that didn't give an inch all match, it's a superb victory. It is our first title of the season. We were able to keep a small lead, even in difficult moments. We have to continue like this, go and get other titles and take advantage of this momentum to approach Wednesday's game against Kiel in the best possible mood."
VINCENT GERARD (GOALKEEPER - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL):
"Montpellier made it tough for us, but we managed to master a high-intensity final. This is another title for Paris Saint-Germain. Now we can focus on our quarter-final against Kiel."
