Les Bleus win against Montenegro

Already qualified for the main round, France took on Montenegro on Wednesday. Les Bleus ran out winners for a fourth-straight time in the competition (35-24).

The match was not one to be taken lightly by the French, with their opponents having collected just two points fewer than them before the start of the Main Round. Nonetheless, France dominated the match and were in front at the break (30': 16-13). In the second half, Luka Karabatic and his teammates increased their advantage, with Parisians Nikola Karabatic and Elohim Prandi each firing a 2 from 4.

Following this latest win, Mathieu Grébille's team now have six points - that's as many as Ferran Solé Sala's Spain, who sit atop the group - and two more than nearest rivals Slovenia, who are in third, just behind France.
