Léo Villain: 'Glad to have had some game time'

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Elohim Prandi and Léo Villain had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's fine 29-43 victory at Ivry in their final warm-up match.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"I don't know if it was the best match of our pre-season, because you have to take a lot of things into account. But we can be happy with our performance, even if the season doesn't start until Tuesday. We won almost everything and everyone got some game time. That's satisfying. There are still a few things we need to get used to, but I think the team will be ready for our Coupe de France match in Frontignan."

ELOHIM PRANDI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"There are still a few things to fine-tune, but we put in a good performance. We played better than we did against Gummersbach. We conceded fewer goals, but we can still improve on that. In attack, we're always very serious and we set the pace. We played a very good 45 minutes. After that, we slackened off a bit, but that's normal as we're nearing the end of our pre-season preparations. I hope that in Frontignan we can step up our game even more so that we can follow it up with the Trophée des Champions."

LÉO VILLAIN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"We won by 14 goals. I think the whole team is happy with this final warm-up match. I'm happy to have had a bit of game time. Even though it was a friendly, I was under a bit of pressure. But I'm happy with what I did. I even managed to score a goal! When I got the ball back, I realised there was no keeper. I had to shoot and it went in. The team has worked well and everyone is ready for the first game."
