LÊo Plantin: 'This pushes me to work even harder'

Paris Saint-Germain Handball got their summer preparations off to the perfect start in Tokyo on Monday evening, beating Zeekstar 27-36. Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Ruben Marchan and Léo Plantin.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"This match wasn't easy. We had to adapt, because we don't often play against teams of this style. But after the first quarter of an hour, we got the better of our opponents and won in style. We're not used to playing with so little training either. We'll be playing much the same game against Japan on Wednesday. We're happy to be here, and we can also enjoy the city of Tokyo."

RUBEN MARCHAN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):

"It's a completely different style, with a very fast game. It's a great experience to play here. We got a good feel for it and that's the most important thing. We still need to work, but we're only at the start of our preparations, so that's normal. Against Japan, it will be more difficult. We need to correct the mistakes we made today and we'll start working on Wednesday's game tomorrow."

LÉO PLANTIN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT WINGER):

"It was my first match as a professional. It's special because now I'm really part of the group. This pushes me to work even harder. For a first pre-season match after just one week's training, I think we played a good game, with a lot of intensity. Against Japan, it will be the same style, but with more pace. But now that we're ready, we'll be stronger."
