Kamil Syprzak: 'We needed a perfect performance'

On Thursday evening, Paris Saint-Germain Handball fell to a narrow defeat away to Kielce in EHF Champions League Matchday 5 action (35-33). Jesus Gonzalez and Kamil Syprzak gave us their thoughts.

Jesus Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball assistant coach):
"Today, it was difficult... We had a lot of problems in defence, despite our changing the formation. The key of the match was at the end. We had the opportunity to win, but we can't afford to lose possession in important moments like that."

Kamil Syprzak (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot):
"We lost, so we're not happy. Honestly, I have a hard time finding the reasons for this defeat. We certainly missed too many shots and were too lax in defence. It's hard to form an opinion in the heat of the moment. We had a good game, but to win we needed a perfect performance, and we didn't manage that."
