Jannick Green extends and Mikkel Løvkvist will join Paris next summer
Paris Saint-Germain Handball is delighted to announce the extension of Jannick Green's contract for another season. The Danish goalkeeper is now tied to the club until 2026. With the departure of Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Palicka at the end of the season, Paris Saint-Germain have also welcomed the arrival of young Dane Mikkel Løvkvist for two seasons from July 2025.
JANNICK GREEN, A PARISIAN THROUGH TO 2026
After starting his career in his homeland, Jannick Green moved to the Bundesliga in 2014, where he played for SC Magdeburg until his move to Paris. With the German club, the Danish international won the league in 2022, the EHF European League in 2021 and the domestic cup in 2016.
After joining Les Rouge et Bleu in 2022, Jannick Green has made 416 saves in 65 games in the Liqui Moly Starligue. The No.16 has added three trophies to his tally with Paris: two French championships (2023, 2024) and a Trophée des Champions (2023).

"I'm delighted to be renewing my contract with the club once again. I'm thriving in Paris, alongside my team-mates and the staff. I'd really like to thank the management for this vote of confidence. We've achieved a lot since I arrived and I'm convinced that the best is yet to come, for Paris Saint-Germain and all the fans. I'm proud and honoured to continue this wonderful adventure."
MIKKEL LØVKVIST TO JOIN PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN IN JULY 2025
Mikkel Løvkvist hails from Roskilde, a town on the Danish island of Sjælland. The 22-year-old Danish goalkeeper began his professional career with Fredericia HC in 2019, before joining Bjerringbro-Silkeborg two years later.
The new Parisian will join the club in July, following the departure of Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Palicka, who will leave the club after three seasons in the Rouge et Bleu shirt.

"Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is a great honour and an incredible opportunity. I'm joining a prestigious club, which has always had great ambitions and which will enable me to reach a new milestone in my career. I can't wait to play my first match at Coubertin. I'm ready to give my all to contribute to the Club's future successes."
Thierry Omeyer, General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain Handball
"We are very proud to extend the contract of Jannick Green, who has established himself as a key member of our team. His spirit and commitment are perfectly in tune with the Club's values. From next season, he will form a promising duo with Mikkel Løvkvist, a young goalkeeper who has already put in some fine performances at European level. He will take over from Andreas Palicka, always exemplary and invaluable in decisive moments, who is playing his last season with us."
