It was an historic victory for the Danes, who restricted the Germans to just 18 goals. Niklas Landin Jacobsen was particularly impressive in his return to Kiel, making 19 saves at 51% clip!

ZAGREB - KIELCE: 22-22

After chasing the game for much of the match, Kielce managed to hit back in the dying moments, scoring two goals in quick succession to earn a second draw in their last three matches. Zagreb had thought to have done the hard part, with Matej Mandic shining particularly brightly with 17 saves. With this draw, Kielce moved level on points with the Parisians and into fifth place, while Zagreb dropped to seventh, just two points behind Les Rouge et Bleu. At the end of the first half go the group stage, the Croatians are just three points behind Aalborg, currently in second, confirming that there is still everything to play for in this group.

SZEGED - PELISTER: 34-26

After beating Zagreb by a narrow margin before the international break, Szeged continued their fine form to heading to the second half go the group stage in sixth place. The Hungarians easily overcame Pelister, who have now suffered seven defeats in as many matches. Although the Macedonians had good intentions, Roland Mikler (16 saves) and Mario Sostaric (nine goals) dashed the hopes of Aleksandar Jovikj's men.
