Group A results

On Wednesday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain Handball won an important victory away to Porto (31-34). Check out the other results from EHF Champions League Group A on Matchday 7.

Vardar - Kielce : 29-33
On Thursday afternoon, a perilous trip awaited the co-leader of the group (alongside Flensburg), Kielce, in Vardar Skopje. After a delicate start (9': 6-3), Nicolas Tournat and his partners perfectly took the measure of the Macedonians. They quickly took the control of the match and didn't let it go. In terms of statistics, a massive performance from Spanish right-back Alex Dujshebaev- who fired 10 from 11 - stood out. The win sees the Polish team take sole control of the group - although Flensburg have a game in hand.

Flensburg - Meshkov Brest: 29-29
The Flensburgers, meanwhile, played host to Meshkov Brest. Season revelations at the start of the European campaign, the Belarusian team had an opportunity to catch up with Flensburg with a win. And they went damn close! After having taken the game to their hosts for most of the 60 minutes, an historic win was on the cards as Maksim Baranau blasted home from the seven-metre line with just 12 seconds left to play. But then Franz Semper equalised on the buzzer in the most dramatic of fashions. Brest remain third, while Flensburg could regain the lead (thanks to a better goal difference over Kielce), with a win in their postponed clash in Szeged.
