Gautier Loredon: "We achieved our objectives tonight"
Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Luka Karabatic and Gautier Loredon had to say after the capital club's fine 41-34 victory over Saint-Raphaël in the last match of 2024.
Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain handball coach):
"We can be happy with the win. We were solid in all areas of the game. It will keep us level with Nantes going into the second half of the season. It was a good first half to the season, and we're also well placed in the Champions League. Now it's time to enjoy the festive season and take a break."
Luka Karabatic (Paris Saint-Germain handball pivot):
"There are no small teams in this championship. We know that every match is going to be tough. They came back in the second half, but we managed to find that extra bit of energy to extend our lead and win."
Gautier Loredon (Paris Saint-Germain handball pivot):
"I think we had a very good first half. We really wanted to bounce back after the defeat in Nantes. We know that the last match of the year is always special, but we really got into our stride, both mentally and physically. When you create a gap quickly in the first half, as we did tonight, it can be more difficult afterwards. That was the case tonight. We were perhaps less precise, but we were able to keep control and win in front of our fans, so we achieved our objectives tonight."
