Elohim Prandi: 'We stepped on the gas in the second half'

Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Jannick Green and Elohim Prandi after Paris Saint-Germain Handball won for the third time in three Liqui Moly StarLigue rounds, beating Créteil 35-27 on Sunday afternoon.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We lost the first half, but we were able to put more intensity into the second. Our defence worked better and Jannick Green made a lot of saves. Then we managed to make the difference quickly. We put in the necessary ingredients to lift our game. We should always play like that. We have to be happy with this win, because we're playing a lot of competitions. We already have to shift focus to the EHF Champions League. We don't have much time to prepare for the matches."

JANNICK GREEN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"We didn't play well for the first 30 minutes, but above all we were up against a very good Créteil team. If you don't play well against them, it's hard. I'm delighted with the win. I'm delighted to win the Man of the Match award, but I couldn't have done it without my teammates. We win together. All victories are good for confidence. Today was tough, but we achieved the most important thing."

ELOHIM PRANDI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"We made it difficult for ourselves in the first half. We were lacking defensively, in our impact and intensity. We let them easily penetrate our nine-metre area and play with their pivot. We also lost possession in attack a number of times. But in the second half, we stepped up a gear. Jannick was excellent and we managed to extend our lead. Not everything was perfect. We're going to have to do better, because the rest comes quickly. We have confidence, but we need to put things not practice. This week, in Kielce and Dunkirk, it will be just as complicated. We'll have to be ready for a physical battle. But I'm sure the whole team is."
