Elohim Prandi: 'We showed the greatness of our club'

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, David Balaguer and Elohim Prandi had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's stunning victory over Veszprém (37-35).

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"I don't think we played all that well in the first half. In the second half we played better. We can be happy because everyone made an effort to win the game. The atmosphere was incredible. For us, it's true that this game was a dead rubber but it's very good to have won tonight after a great battle."

DAVID BALAGUER (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL RIGHT-WING):

"It was a match with a lot of ups and downs. In the first half it was very difficult; we didn't defend well and we lost a possession a lot. In the second half we reacted well, with pride and self belief. I think the team can be proud of what we did tonight. For us, it's always important to win no matter what's at stake. We know that every home game is important for us and for the fans. With the atmosphere we had tonight, we couldn't do less."

ELOHIM PRANDI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):

"It was a tough but incredible match. I really enjoyed playing this match, despite some frustration and irritation. But we managed to turn things around thanks to our team, our character and our supporters. Today something strong happened. We showed the greatness of our club and our team by showing what we are capable of. When we play at this level, it's difficult to keep up with us. We're not the kind of people to let a game like that go by. It's the kind of game we can expect in the future, in the quarter-finals. We have to show that we are a good team and that we never give up. We are at Coubertin, at home, and so it's important to give our absolute all to defend our colours."
