Elohim Prandi is signs for Paris Saint-Germain Handball through to 2023

Paris Saint-Germain Handball is pleased to announce the signing of Elohim Prandi for the 2020-2021 season. The French left-back will be linked to the Club for three years.

Trained at US Ivry, Elohim Prandi has been playing for USAM Nîmes Gard since 2017. He was named one of Lidl Starligue's top three left-backs at the end of the 2018-2019 season.

The 20-year-old won the world title with the French U19 team in 2017 and then the silver medal at the U20 Euros in 2018. Along with the four Parisians Robin Dourte, Gautier Ivah, Edouard Kempf and Dylan Nahi, he is now a member of the French U21 team that is preparing for the world championship scheduled to take place in Spain from 16 July.

"I am extremely proud to be involved with Paris," said Elohim Prandi, after signing his contract. "Today, I’m thinking of everyone who contributed to my development as a player but also as a man. I want to thank the clubs of Torcy, Ivry and Nîmes but also my entourage for accompanying and supporting me. Paris Saint-Germain is a world-class handball club, which plays season after season at the highest level and wins many titles despite ever-increasing competition. With a staff and a squad of this quality, everything is in place to continue to achieve great performances. And I intend to make my contribution to it."

"Elohim Prandi is one of the most promising players of his generation," said Jean-Claude Blanc, Deputy General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain. "The USAM allows him to make a step forward and he has already established himself, at 20 years old, as a key member of his team. By playing under Raul Gonzalez's guidance and alongside the many experienced players who make up our squad, he will be in the best conditions to develop and exploit his potential."
