Elohim Prandi: "Big battles await us"
Check out what Raul Gonzalez and Elohim Prandi had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's defeat to Veszprém (33-37) on EHF Champions League Matchday 13.
Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain handball coach):
"We fought until the end, but they were more consistent. Rodrigo Corrales was excellent, and when you face a goalkeeper like him, it's always difficult to win. We still have a chance to regain second place. To do so, we'll have to win at Pelister on the last matchday and hope for favourable results from Plock against Sporting and Veszprém against Berlin."
Elohim Prandi (Paris Saint-Germain handball left-back):
‘We had a good second half, but we paid for our performance in the first half. There were a lot of turnovers, and conceding 23 goals in one half makes it difficult. We managed to close the gap to one goal, and we had chances to do even better, but we didn't manage to convert them. For their part, they are devastating in attack, and Rodrigo Corrales was ruthless in defence. We're staying positive; I think we're capable of great things. We all have to be at 100%, all the time. We know we can't afford to make mistakes at this level. Our goal is to get back into second place next week at Pelister. We can't just hope for a result from Plock against Sporting, we have to focus on ourselves. The season is still long and big battles await us."
