Elohim Prandi: 'A win and no injuries, that's the main thing'

On Saturday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain Handball closed out its league duties for 2020 in the best possible way by getting the better of Dunklerque (30-20) Lidl StarLigue Round 14. Les Rouge et Bleu are now ready for the Velux EHF Final4, as confirmed by Raul Gonzalez, Elohim Prandi and Adama Keita.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"We started well and we increased the lead in the first 15 minutes. We are happy, because we finished the year in the league with only victories. We have a little time to prepare for the Final4. Everybody is motivated! There will be tough teams. We will face a very good Barcelona side, who have everything to win the Champions League. But we will work hard."

Elohim Prandi (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-back):
"We were very active in the first half. We were very defensive. There were a few small mistakes, but that's normal in a game. We were able to make the difference when we had to and we were able to keep up the work rate in the second half. The victory is in the bag and there are no injuries, that's the main thing. I'm satisfied with our first half of the league season, since we won all our games. We got stronger as we went along. Now I'm looking forward to the Final4. I can't wait! I have to give it my all so that I don't have any regrets and so we can go after what awaits the team that goes all the way!"

Adama Keita (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):
"We dominated, even though we didn't play the best of the matches. Dunkerque are a great team. The important thing is to have won and to have shown a good state of mind for 60 minutes. We had good wins last week in Nantes (24-26) and Montpellier (32-36), so it's good to finish like that. We'll be lucky enough to be at home when we play them in the second half of the season. We're happy with our record and we have to keep up the momentum. The more the days go by, the more the Final4 excitement will rise. We are very motivated and we hope to get the best of results."
