Dylan Nahi: 'The Lidl Star League is still difficult in 2020'

On Thursday evening, Paris Saint-Germain Handball featured in Lidl StarLigue for the first time in 2020 when they travelled to Toulouse for their Round 14 clash. Raul Gonzalez, Sander Sagosen and Dylan Nahi gave us their thoughts on the win (28-36).

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"The second half was much better than the first! Especially in defence... We had a lot of difficulties with our 6-0 formation, so we had to adapt. In the first leg, it was the other way round, as we started in 5-1, before changing. It's difficult to get back into the rhythm, especially away to Toulouse, who play very well. That made it difficult for us. I'm happy, because we knew it would be complicated in this arena."

Sander Sagosen (Paris Saint-Germain Handball centre-half):
"We had a lot of problems in the first half, making a lot of mistakes. Then we played better, especially by changing our defence. We went to 5-1, which allowed us to make interceptions and score into the empty net. Rodri [Corrales] also played very well! It's easier when you can rely on a keeper like him. It was the first game of the year where you could count on everyone. We have to keep working in this difficult period, with a lot of travelling."

Dylan Nahi (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):
"Toulouse were leading at the start of the match, but we managed to make up the deficit little by little. In the last 30 minutes, we intercepted in defence, with some nice parries from Rodrigo and a super Luka (Karabatic). That's where we made the difference. The league hasn't changed in 2020, it's even tougher!"
