Dylan Nahi: 'Not champions yet'

On Sunday afternoon, the Paris Saint-Germain Handball travel to Créteil for their Lidl Starligue Round 10 clash. Before throw-off, our left-winger Dylan Nahi gave us his thoughts on the league and capital club's form.

Psg.fr: What do you think of this run of eight consecutive wins since the beginning of the season in Lidl StarLigue?
Dylan Nahi: It's awesome! We've had several tough games... We also have a match in hand. We have to win them all, because the championship is never easy. We are not champions yet.

It is not too complicated to prepare when we know that a match can easily be postponed?
It is a little tought... But we know that it will be played anyway, it's only a postponed game. When we learn that a match has been or might be postponed, it's a bit annoying at the time, but we have to prepare ourselves for the moment when it arrives.

On Sunday, you play Créteil. Despite the gap in the ranking (Paris are top, Créteil 13th), there is still plenty to play for in this derby isn't there?
It's always complicated away to Créteil. As are all our matches by the way, since every team looks to play their best handball against us. We're going to play against a good team, so it's up to us to make sure things go in our favour.

You're one of three left-wingers (with Adama Keita and Mathieu Grébille). How is it going?
Very well! I've known Adama for many years, but I just met Mathieu this year. It's a pleasure to play along side him and to be able to chat with him. He has already become a very good friend. The three of us talk a lot. We try to help each other. We are very complementary.

You've been turning in very good performances for several weeks now. Do you feel that you've grown up?
The beginning of the season was complicated because I got injured. I'm recovering well and I'm happy about that. This is my last year here and I want to start on a good note! It's a pleasure to play. Everything I do in the game is what I've been working on before. So in theory, it should go well. For example the spin-shot in Porto, it's something I was afraid to do at the beginning, but I've got over it. I'm happy to be on the field and to fight alongside my teammates.

It's your last season here... have you been worried that it could end sooner than expected?
Yes! Leaving a club like this is always difficult. Especially as there are no spectators... But we can play and I hope to finish the season well with my teammates and the fans at Coubertin. Paris has given me a lot, andI would love repay it all by winning all the titles I can. The season is still far from over, so I'm not thinking about my departure yet - I'm focused on my performances.
