David Balaguer: 'Patience paid off'

After the victory of Paris Saint-Germain Handball against Aix (37-32), check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Adama Keita and David Balaguer.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We started the game badly... The Aix coach is very good and his players showed great qualities. We made a lot of mistakes in all areas. But afterwards, we were able to change the game. We were more aggressive and we recovered possession. It was a difficult match and we had to work hard for 60 minutes. But in the end we won and that was the objective."

ADAMA KEITA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-WINGER):

"We had to adjust our sights after a first half that was laborious in defence. We were able to do that. That's what allowed us to recover possession and play in larger spaces- that's more our style of play. The desire to win at home in front of our extraordinary fans pushed us to do better. Aix really played a great game! But what we remember most is our fighting spirit and the determination we showed in the tough moments."

DAVID BALAGUER (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL RIGHT-WINGER):

"We know that Aix have a special style of play, that these players always try to direct the tempo of the match. But our patience paid off. We knew that our moment was coming and that we should not panic. And with the help of the crowd, which was magnificent, we managed to take both points. It's never easy when you're behind. It's important for our confidence to have been able to react and we hope it will continue like this."
