All you need to know about Kielce - PSG Handball

Another big clash awaits Paris Saint-Germain Handball on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to Kielce for their EHF Champions League Matchday 6 clash - a match that promises to be just as exciting as the capital club's recent outings!

One big match after another
Les Rouge et Bleu are playing away from home for the third time in the space of a week; after their match against Barcelona (30-27), they brought back two very important points from Montpellier on Sunday afternoon (33-34). They will finish their series of four away games in all competitions in Aix on Saturday.

The table
After five games, Kielce are well placed in Group B. Although they were beaten in the opening game against Dinamo Bucharest (32-29), they have since made a clean sweep with four wins in as many matches. This strong form has seen them climb to the top of the table, alongside Barcelona and Veszprém.

A win for the capital club would bring them considerably closer to their opponents. They are currently three points behind, and could come to within one. Despite two defeats and a draw so far in the group stage, our team have always looked dangerous and have often put their rivals in trouble.

Mikky almost at the top
Mikkel Hansen, who scored the decisive goal at the buzzer in Montpellier, has turned in a string of good performances. His handiwork was among the Top Goals for Matchday 5, and he is Paris' top scorer in all competitions. In the Champions League, he has scored 31 goals - only Barcelona's French international Dika Mem has done better (38).

Paris take on Dylan
On Wednesday, Paris will be up against a player they know well - Dylan Nahi, who came up through the Parisian youth system. Before leaving last summer for Kielce, the 21-year-old left-winger played for five seasons in our colours (each of which saw him crowned champion of Frances). The French international made his senior debut at the age of just 15 during the 2015 Eurotournament. He was named Best Young Player in Champions League in 2021 and is currently his side's top scorer on the European stage this season (23 goals).

Head to head
This is the tenth time these two teams have faced each other in this competition. Paris Saint-Germain Handball lead the way with six wins and three losses. This fixture is often very competitive and spectacular and there is little doubt that Wednesday's clash will continue the tradition!
