After Montpellier, three Parisians in the spotlight

With their masterful 31-26 win over Montpellier, the capital club struck another blow in the Liqui Moly StarLigue. Following this success, three Parisians saw their performance rewarded with a place in the Best 7 for the round.

KAMIL SYPRZAK ON TOP

Just a few days after breaking his personal record with Paris in a 37-29 win at Saran, Kamil Syprzak needed just one week to reach the 13-goal mark again, this time at Montpellier. His performance was all the more commendable given that, this time, our pivot simply had a perfect game, scoring his huge haul with 100% efficiency! The result saw him named in the team of the week for the eighth time this season. Thanks to this latest splendid performance, Kamil has taken over the top spot in the Liqui Moly StarLigue scoring charts with 139 goals - three more than Toulouse's Nemanja Ilic.

FERRAN SOLÉ IMPERIOUS

In addition to Kamil Syprzak, Ferran Solé Sala was also outstanding for the capital club. The Spanish international, who scored eight goals, was also ruthless in front of goal, scoring on every attempt he made - his personal best for the season. This is the first time our right winger has been named in the Best 7 in 2023-24.

JANNICK GREEN SAVES THE DAY

However, although Raul Gonzalez's men were irreproachable offensively, it would have been in vain had it not been for the hermetic solidity of Jannick Green. With ten saves, including two from the penalty line, the Danish keeper kept Montpellier at bay - injdeed, Paris never trailed in the match. With a 56% success rate, Jannick has become an impenetrable wall, so it comes as no surprise that he was also named in the Best 7 - for the third time this season.
