Adama Keita: 'Always a physical contest'

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Adama Keita and Gautier Loredon had to say after a great battle that saw Paris Saint-Germain Handball win against Dunkerque in their Liqui Moly StarLigue Round 16 clash (44-36).

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"Every team has good players, so it's always tough to get a win. We have just been to Croatia for the EHF Champions League, so we had to follow up. But everyone did a great job and we were able to make the difference. We can be satisfied. We have won all our games since the start of the season, so we can't do better. But we are a bit worried about the number of injuries we have. It's difficult to prepare for matches in these conditions... We don't have much time. It's good to be back at Coubertin - we had played several matches away from home in row. Today, the atmosphere was great and helped us to play well."

ADAMA KEITA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-WINGER):

"We know that against Dunkerque, it's always a physical contest. We responded in terms of our commitment and play. We collected two more points in the league, so we are happy with the performance. We are starting the year very well. We hope that the injured players can come back soon and that we will be able to play again. Especially as we have some important matches coming up - we'll need everyone. It's been a long time since we played at Coubertin, so it's nice to be back on this court and to see our fans shouting in unison."

GAUTIER LOREDON (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):

"It was a real battle from start to finish. This match was not easy three days after Zagreb, as we had already given everything. That allowed us to win. You can't ask for more than these three wins to start 2023. Now we have to rest to be even stronger on Thursday against Dinamo Bucharest. I am happy to be back at Coubertin, especially as it was full. The fans played their role of eighth man perfectly."
