It was in Gladbach in the summer of 1993 that Julian Draxler saw the light of day. His natural ability quickly allowed him to develop a solid reputation and join the Schalke 04 Academy.
Thrown into the world of professional football at 17, in 2011, Julian became one of the most promising youngsters in German football. The attacking midfielder’s technique delighted the Ruhr for four years, before he joined Wolfsburg in 2015, after a summer in which he was crowned World Champion with the Nationalmannschaft. He wore the green shirt for two years.
In the winter transfer market in 2017, Julian moved to the capital to strengthen the Paris Saint-Germain side, three years after reaching the summit of world football with the German national side.
