A product of the Real Madrid academy, the Spanish striker was thrown in at the deep end by manager José Mourinho in 2011 during a pre-season tour, then saw his first-team game time skyrocket under Carlo Ancelotti in 2013-14. It was a season in which Jesé scored his first professional goal – against Barcelona in El Clasico – on the 26 October 2013. That season ended with a tenth Champions League win for Real.
The forward has been at Paris Saint-Germain since 2016 and after numerous loan spells (Las Palmas, Stoke City, Real Betis, Sporting Portugal) he rejoined the capital club’s squad in the summer of 2020.
