Zaire-Emery and Bitshiabu in the Golden Boy 100!

The two Paris Saint-Germain youngsters are among the 100 players in the running to win the Golden Boy 2023, a prize awarded by the Italian daily Tutto Sport to the best player under the age of 21 in Europe.

PSG's youth development continues to shine!

As it does every year, the Italian newspaper Tuttosport has unveiled the list of the 100 contenders for the Golden Boy award, which goes to the best player under the age of 21 in Europe.

And this year, two of our young capital-bred prospects are in the running for the prestigious title: Warren Zaïre-Emery and El Chadaille Bitshiabu. They are among the 14 French players named in the list, making France the most represented nation on the list!

The young Warren, born in March 2006, is the youngest player among the 100 European up-and-comers. This season, he became the youngest player in the history of Paris Saint-Germain, the youngest first-team regular, and the youngest to make his Champions League debut for Les Rouge et Bleu.

The 2005-born defender and 2006-born midfielder follow in the footsteps of Nuno Mendes, who was named in the final 40 of Golden Boy 2022. It was Spaniard Gavi (18, FC Barcelona) who was finally crowned at the end of last season. His successor will be announced in October.
