What our internationals are up to

During this international break, thirteen members of the Paris Saint-Germain first team joined are on duty with their respective national teams. Here's what they'll be getting up to….

MARCO VERRATTI - ITALY

Italy will play two qualifying matches for UEFA EURO 2020, the first on Thursday 5 September in Yerevan, Armenia. Three days later, Marco Verratti and his teammates will travel to Tampere, Finland, to try to extend their unbeaten run.

PABLO SARABIA - SPAIN

La Roja and Pablo Sarabia will travel to Bucharest on Thursday, 5 September, to face Romania. Three days later, the Spaniards will play host the Faroe Islands in Gijon. These two matches are important Euro qualifying fixtures.

THOMAS MEUNIER - BELGIUM

After four wins in as many matches, Belgium will play two qualifying matches for UEFA EURO 2020. On Friday, 6 September, the Red Devils will travel to Serravalle to face San Marino. Three days later, Thomas Meunier and his compatriots will play against Scotland in Glasgow.

MARQUINHOS / THIAGO SILVA / NEYMAR JR - BRAZIL

The Seleção will be in the United States to play two friendly matches. The Brazilians will play against Colombia in Miami on the night of Friday to Saturday, 7 September. Three days later, Brazil will go to Los Angeles to face Peru.

LEANDRO PAREDES - ARGENTINA

Argentina will be playing two friendly matches. Like Brazil, the Albiceleste will play both games in the United States. The first will take place on the night of Thursday to Friday, 6 September, against Chile in Los Angeles, followed by a trip to San Antonio to face Mexico on the night of Monday to Tuesday, 10 September.

KEYLOR NAVAS - COSTA RICA

The new Parisian 'keeper will play a friendly match during this international break. In San Jose, the Costa Rican capital, Navas and his teammates will face Uruguay - who will be without the injured Edinson Cavani - on the night of Friday to Saturday, 7 September.

MARCIN BULKA - POLAND U21

The goalkeeper recruited this summer by Paris Saint-Germain was called up to play two matches with the Polish U21s. He will face Latvia first on Friday, 6 September , before playing Estonia on Tuesday, 10 September. These two matches will count towards qualifying for the U21 Euro 2021.

 

COLIN DAGBA - FRANCE U21

Colin Dagba was called up by Espoirs coach Sylvain Ripoll to play two friendly matches. This Thursday, 5 September, the U21 will face Albania the day before their counterparts in the senior team do so. Four days later, France's youngsters will play against the Czech Republic.

LOÏC MBE SOH - FRANCE U19

Selected with the U19s, Loïc Mbe Soh and his teammates will play three games in an international tournament. First in Slovenia on Thursday 5 September at 17:00 before travelling to Croatia two days later. Their third match will be played against Russia on Monday, 9 September.

TANGUY KOUASSI / ADIL AOUCHICHE - FRANCE U18

The two Parisian lads have been selected to compete in the Limoges International Tournament. On the agenda are three matches for Les Bleuets. France will first face Senegal on Wednesday, 4 September 4 at 19:00. Two days later, they take on Portugal, before playing Russia on Sunday, 8 September. Also noteworthy is the presence in the France squad of Arnaud Kalimuendo, a member of the capital club's U19 team.
