What awaits our Parisians in January
With the team back in training, a quick look at the schedule that awaits the Rouge et Bleu in January, to kick off 2021 and the second half of the season, and there will be plenty of emotions guaranteed.
There's no time for hanging around for the Rouge et Bleu who come out of the blocks in 2021 at Saint-Étienne on Wednesday before facing Brest at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, in Rounds 18 and 19 of Ligue 1, finishing off a first half of the season that was delayed because of the health crisis.
Marseille will be next for the Parisians, in the Trophée des Champions, that will take place in Lens on January 13. A much-awaited clash that will decide the destiny of the first trophy of the season, against the rivals from the south of France.
Then there's a trip to Angers, the home game with Montpellier and a trip to Lorient to finish off January, before a prestigious start to February as the Rouge et Bleu go to the Vélodrome for the Classique before the first leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League against Barcelona, at Camp Nou.
Under Mauricio Pochettino, freshly appointed, the Rouge et Bleu are set for a crazy six months, with, we hope, lots of success and trophies to be held aloft.
