We're back!

The Paris Saint-Germain players were back at the Ooredoo Training Centre on Wednesday for the start of pre-season training where they met new coach Thomas Tuchel and underwent a series of physical and medical tests.

It was the first like the first day back at school on Wednesday morning at the Ooredoo Training Centre. After a month’s holidays, the capital club’s players who didn’t take part in the World Cup were back at their home away from home. The 11 first-team players arrived at 9am to meet with new coach Thomas Tuchel and the new coaching staff.

This first day was one of physical and medical tests. Divided into two groups, the players underwent a series a physical exercises. Lassana Diarra, Layvin Kurzawa, Marco Verratti, Jese, Remy Descamps, Sébastien Cibois and Garissone Innocent spent the morning with the coaches doing a series of tests under the attentive gaze of chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. At the same time, Christopher Nkunku, Stanley Nsoki, Adrien Rabiot and Timothy Weah underwent medical examinations with the club doctors. The two groups switched in the afternoon.

A first day back that the players have been looking forward to, starting with Lassana Diarra: “It’s great to be back here and training with our teammates. We also met the new coaching staff. Everyone is very enthusiastic and we are going to work hard to try and win a lot of trophies this season.”
