Vitinha: "The fans give us extra strength"

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder knowns the travelling support will be crucial in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg in London.

EXPERIENCE

"We're a young squad, but in spite of that, we have a lot of experience. We had a difficult league phase against some big teams. Like Arsenal on Matchday 2. And that experience will serve us well now. We also played a semi-final last year, and we have that experience too. We're going to do all we can to do even better than last year."

THE LEAGUE PHASE GAME

"It was a long time ago. This match will of course be different. The stakes aren't the same either. We'll do everything to get a different result, of course. But we will stay true to our philosophy, we won't change our way of playing, and will have the objective of winning, that's clear."

THE MATCH

"I expect a very difficult game for both teams. I know everything will be decided by the small details. We mustn't make any mistakes. Arsenal are a great team, with a strong collective group, and that is undoubtedly their greatest quality. They play together and are a bit similar to us. It'll be a great game."

TEAM SPIRIT

"Every footballer dreams of playing in this sort of game. We're very focussed, we're very happy to be able to play these two games. We're only thinking about this game. The defeat to Nice is behind us, and our sights are set on the semi-final first leg. We're going to give our all to win this game."

THE PHYSICAL CHALLENGE

"Each time we have played an English team, the physical challenge has been brought up. But I think that we have shown that we have what it takes to match that, to meet the challenge. But each game is different."

THE FAVOURITE?

"I don't think there's a favourite. We're playing the first leg away from home, so they will have a certain advantage. And we'll have it in the second leg. And I thank the supporters who'll be there on Tuesday, we feel their support on the pitch in each of our games. They really give us extra strength."

OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ

"He's a leader who gives 100% every time. He's so focussed on what he contributes on the pitch and in the dressing room. He brings everyone together and gives us confidence. He's really a leader, especially in that sense."
