Vitinha: "I'm very proud of my team-mates"

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Vitinha spoke to PSGTV after the Red and Blues' impressive 0-2 win at the Velodrome on Matchday 27 of Ligue 1.

"I think we should be happy. The negative point is maybe that we were far from our best in the first half. We made a lot of mistakes. We made mistakes in situations where it's dangerous to lose the ball. The match changed with the sending off, but I think that in the second half we were very good, very serious, very strict, very solid and very united. We defended very well, we tried to control our opponents and we waited for the counter-attack to win the game and that's what we did.
I think our supporters will be very happy. The win is definitely theirs. They weren't able to be here, but I know they supported us from the Parc des Princes. Now we'll have them on Wednesday, as always, to help us get to another final."

"I think it's incredible. The spirit of the whole team, that's what makes a great team. That's what we showed today. Even the players who came on during the game were incredible. We have to highlight that because that's what makes a real team. I'm very proud of my team-mates.
My goal? It's a good feeling, it's the first time (that I've scored here), and I know how important this match is, the Classique. It feels good to score in this type of match and to help the team with 10 men, it was incredible."
