Mbappé sends France into the Round of 16!

Kylian Mbappé's France side beat Denmark 2-1 on Saturday 26 November at the Stadium 974 in Doha, on Matchday 2 of the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup group stage.

A victory which allowed Didier Deschamps' team to secure their spot in the Round of 16 of the competition. Having already scored against Australia, the club from the capital's number 7 made the difference once again on Saturday afternoon. He scored a brace, his 30th and 31st goals for Les Bleu which see him join Zinédine Zidane in 7th place in the rankings of top scorers for the France national team. Voted man of the match, Kylian Mbappé became the most capped Rouge et Bleu player for Les Tricolores on Tuesday, with 1 more than former midfielder Blaise Matuidi, who picked up 56 caps while playing for Paris Saint-Germain.
