Paris to play Dunkerque in Coupe de France semi-finals!
Paris Saint-Germain has been drawn to play USL Dunkerque (L2) on Tuesday 1 or Wednesday 2 April in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.
Winners of the competition a record 15 times (1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2024), and having already beaten RC Lens 1-1 (4-3 on pens), FC Espaly 4-2, Le Mans FC 2-0 and Stade Briochin 7-0, the Ligue 1 leaders Paris will travel away Dunkerque who currently sit third in Ligue 2 with 45 points, and reach the final four of the Cup courtesy of wins over Stade Béthunois FC 0-0, (7-6 on pens.), FCM Aubervilliers 2-0, AJ Auxerre 1-0, FCSR Haguenau 3-1, LOSC Lille 1-1, (5-4 on pens.) and Stade Brestois 29 3-2.
The two sides have only met once previously, in the round of 64 of the Coupe de France back in the 1973-74 campaign. Les Rouge et Bleu won 1-0 in Amiens thanks to a penalty from Jean-Pierre Dogliani.
The final of the Coupe de France will be played at the Stade de France on Saturday 24 May.
